A little bit of story telling today through this week’s instagram pictures. This week has bee filled with lots and lots of study time, good eats, quality time with my Jake, hand-me-downs from sister, cute pugs, cuddly cats, and lots of coldness.
So tomorrow we wrap up this week and it’s time for the weekend! Sadly, I’ll be spending the majority of my time studying…you know…bones…and joints. Cool stuff like that. Jake and I have the day off together on Saturday so we are planning a date night! We need fun things to do…my creative wheels are currently spinning!
It is god-awfully cold outside! It’s difficult enough just walking out the door…but roaming around on a windy campus all day?! God save my soul….
In other thoughts, this week is quite emotional to say the least. Friday is the one year mark since Jeremy’s death. Feels like yesterday, it honestly does. I still find myself thinking of him daily and hearing his voice, and see his smile. At times I begin to remember that terribly horrifying night of the wreck…my entire body seems to still freeze up remembering. I try to not replay that night and the weeks following because what good does that I am incredibly thankful he is happy right now despite the grief we feel here. I know he wishes he could bring us all the same happiness he feels. Someday! Thankfully I am surrounded by encouraging family and friends whom I don’t know what I would do without. Thank God for them, seriously.
Dearest Jeremy, you are not forgotten, nor ever will be. I still love you day in and day out. Life goes on, but you’ve got a piece of every single one of our hearts. I’m excited for the day we all get to see your smiling face again. I’m sure it’ll be one heck of a reunion (:
